An undeniable trend in gaming graphics during the early 90s was the usage of digitized graphics, made possible thanks to various advancements in hardware and software. Resulting in hits like T2, Mortal Kombat, Pit Fighter and Primal Rage. PART...

Nicely done! Yeah but, Bloodlines holds up as one of the most replayable and creative Castlevanias. I would like to see more games like it. Bloodstained Ritual of the Night has shades of Bloodlines creativity.
When younger I didn't realize how cut throat the console owners were toward the development companies 😮
And ,,,,seeing this amazing documentary in 2024, with AI stealing all those great artists , and adding to their database, to create "stolen art". How nobody puts a stop to this? ... Now this talented woman, Ayami Kojima, would be unemployed, as today nobody needs an artist to create with AI a character design .... Horrible world we have now.
I miss these digitized grqphics. Far better than the nowadays MK games. I wish they make a MK with digitized graphics with current technology.
Is this an AI voiceover? Certainly sounds like it.
Simply amazingly amazing channel
Thanks so much :)
I love that Ecco is just a regular dolphin, no special designs or anything crazy to make him stand out or "mascotize" him. Just a plain old dolphin on a mission to save the world from aliens like any other
lovely video, thank you so much for your research and work in compiling and presenting this information for us
So these same guys created Lost World Jurassic Park. This explains alot when it comes to picture quality
Your videos are so timeless. I can watch any of them, no matter how old they are, and have a good time.
9:05 link of original video?
SEGA shouldn't have declined SGI. They should have accepted SGI for a developer's kit for the Saturn and launch the Saturn on September 1995
Should have made more sonic games and focused less on stupid games
but those stupid games are their best ones
@@davebob4973 no like trash genesis fighting games or whatever. Like they should have done more with sonic games and stop making crappy sega games on the genesis that are forgettable
@@davebob4973 like sonic cd 2 or sonic 4,5,6. Or tails in his own game. Or even like sonic triple trouble 16bit. They should have made more Sonic games you know
I like the use of the Airwolf theme at 5:41 as that is one of my favorite shows of all time.
AD Visser,Doe Maar,Veronica en TJOLK = Dutch AF
I love the editing style here. will definitely subbed.
Me and my brother received the NES around 1987-1988 as Christmas gift because of Castlevania which was the first video game we had played after the Game and Watch. We played it at a friend’s house and were literally mesmerized. When Simons Quest came out we were completely amazed by the musics and the exploration part. This was something new and thrilling. It has different endings too… then we played rockman 3 and were the first to have the game card in our village so every Nintendo geek came to play it at our home. Great times !
Hi there, how are you? Would you consider doing plot analysis video series? I'd love to see your take on the plot and conspiracy theories regarding Resident Evil, Half Life & Portal, The Binding of Isaac, etc.
I don't have plans to branch out to doing plot analysis, sorry! They are not really my area of expertise to be honest.
One of my favorites games of all time! Great video!
After MK4/ Gold all the others simply sucked ass.
Fast gameplay? Even back then we knew it was too slow
For an A.I voiced video, The production of this video is great tbh lol BLASPHEMY! 😂🤙
i dont think thats an ai voice i think for whatever reason that only god knows the audio in the intro got messed up becausemi swear it did not used rto sound like that
This documentary is amazing. So glad I found your channel. Quality is off the charts. 🙏🏿♥️🔥🔥
Thanks so much!
It is PESINA, not peNsina
This doesn’t feel like a review
cool but does not show the making of the game or its creators in action. i guess i could imagine an old fuji film
failed to mention the composer fell ill and needed help finishing the score
Make Chrono Cross video please!
I can’t believe 2018 was 6 years ago… also nice documentary, you really know how to pull in viewers and it’s awesome.
@5:01 LMAO! you can see the germ of what was to come! I wonder who the other guys that didn't make the roster were
My best friend will enjoy this vid thanks! Subbed
Great video, subbed
its actually called the super emeralds
Kabal from MK3 looks like they got a guy in khakis and rushed to dress him up with props from a sports and Halloween store.
I felt the Insert coin doc glossed over MK and in general was a bland documentary. I love this video you did. It brings me back watching this video. MK 2 is still thee best of them all.
i love the elegant manga style of the game, back when that cartooning style had a lil more class.
Freaking incredible use of the available tools of the time, and in the end, not only did they pioneer it, they bested it, perfected it, and left no chance for anyone else to keep up before 3D took over. Mortal Kombat will remain a legend.
Beautifully done video
As well as donkey Kong country 1 2 and three sonic 3-D blast DOOM 64
are you chaseface?
Great video. I love how they took 90s inspiration out of magazines at 4:38. Skate, WWF wrestlers, the Rocketeer, backwards caps and more
I’m pretty sure that you’re the first person to specify that Sonic’s shoes were inspired by the “BAD” music video outfit and not just Michael Jackson. Thank you for that detail👏🏾👏🏾
Oh so its not west one Childhood ruined
Thank you so much for creating this. The nostalgia is hitting me hard right now.
Can, you guys give us an insight on Goldeneye N64 pls ?
quality video, thanks for sharing. Best game and soundtrack ever !
90s Rare is unmatched. Firing from all cylinders, the group of people that brought us so many gems need more appraisal.
Literally one of my favorite video on the whole youtube. Amazing work of presentation and synthesis. Good job to every members of your team for this excellent video. I learned so many things in this 20 minutes span! (born in the very late 90s) And your soothing voice makes it so easy to follow everything. Thank you so much for giving us such amazing, FREE, content !
Thanks so much! Really wonderful to read :)
how did i miss this masterpieces release
The way this glides through anime, movie, TV, toys, and video games is like pop culture comparative literature. Your best video yet!
